One too many Rahejas : Know which Raheja Builder you are dealing with. Raheja Builders of Delhi is different from the K Raheja Corp of Shoppers Stop Fame

In today’s world where trust in real estate brands (or brands in general) is at an all time low, it is imperative that you know the builder or brand that you are investing your hard earned money with.

There are often instances where same or similar looking brand names are used  by organizations which typically mislead ill informed consumers/buyers.

One such case in the the real estate industry is the name “Raheja”. When you do a google the term “rahaja real estate”, just the first two pages throws up 5 companies

www.TheLogicalBuyer.com – a very popular website which covers all news and stories about the real estate sector and proudly claims its reason for existence as “enlightening real estate consumers!” covered the Raheja Vedaanta case in the National Consumer Forum (NCDRC) against Raheja Builders.

The article basically talks about the case so far highlighting the grievances of the owners of flats in Raheja Vedaanta in Sector 108 Dwarka Expressway, Gurgaon.

NCDRC issues a public notice in newspapers to invite other Raheja Vedaanta Owners & Residents to join the legal case against Raheja Builders

 

In a significant move in the case against Raheja Builders, the NCDRC (National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission) has issued a public notice in news papers to invite other Raheja Vedaanta Owners and residents to join the legal case against Raheja Builders.

For example a notice was published in the NCR/New Delhi region main paper of the Hindustan Times on page number 17 on the October 22nd 2015

Call for joining the Legal Group against Raheja Builders

 

This is a call for all owners and residents of Raheja Vedaanta and Vedas at Sector 108 Dwarka Expressway Gurgaon to join the legal group which is fighting a case against Raheja Builders in NCDRC (National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission).

We received response from 33 new members and find the various concerns intriguing.

The second edition of the monthly newsletter is a way forward to apprise all esteemed colleagues about the developments during the previous month and also try to suggest plausible alternative measures to address their concerns raised.
